Illinois Fake ID Laws

Thinking of using a fake ID in Illinois? Possession of a fake Illinois driver’s license or ID card is punishable by up to three years in prison and up to $25,000 in fines.

Knowingly lending a real ID to someone else can earn the lender up to a year in jail and $2,500 in fines. Definitely not worth it.
