After a sting operation by the State Liquor Authority in which 30% of the stores tested failed, tougher legislation has been proposed to cut down on the use of fake IDs.
The Senators who introduced the bill want to entice stores to invest in high-tech ID scanners that they say will dissuade kids from even trying to use fake IDs at stores.
